Our Vision
WHY WE DO IT
THE NORTH EAST LOSES TOO MUCH CREATIVE TALENT. WE'RE BUILDING A REASON TO STAY.

Crow House Projects is a community interest company focused on building a film making network in the North-East of Scotland.  We offer industry standard hands-on experience in filmmaking and the chance to collaborate and work alongside professionals in the art of filmmaking.  We aim to mentor local talent to make high quality film productions, giving guidance, equipment and budget to our participants.

Film making is one of the most collaborative art forms involving many types of creative pursuits, such as photography, music, storyboarding, set design, make-up, wardrobe and more.  We intend to utilise the talents we have up here to come together to make quality film projects that give everyone credits and experience in their field.

The North-East loses talented individuals to the South and further afield.  Crow House Projects is designed to light that creative spark at its source and fuel it to stay in the North-East — to showcase North-East talent and culture on a global scale.

Led by multi-award winning film makers, the four directors of Crow House share the same ambitious goals; our focus is not only about us making these films, but working collaboratively with local talent.  We want to help the most keen and hungry film makers in our community to make their own films.

We focus on the production of  high-calibre projects and our target participants are those who are serious about filmmaking.  We are already working alongside Robert Gordon University, Gray’s School of Art, University of Aberdeen and North East College and have started offering experience to their students and alumni.

Crow House is open to anyone aged 18+.  We don’t care about your personal background, nationality or postcode. We only care that you are passionate about making movies!
